Volleyball Recap: Providence Hall Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Providence Hall and Logan squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Providence Hall had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-1. The Patriots' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Korinne McBride and Sarah Janney, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Italia Miller and her ten assists. Janney was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Providence Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Logan, their win bumped their record up to 10-20.

Providence Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Logan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Layton Christian Academy on the 28th.
