Volleyball Recap: Chatham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chatham and Gretna squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Chatham had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat last Tuesday.

Chatham was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-21.

Chatham is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-8. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Gretna, they, and Appomattox County. As for the Hawks, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Chatham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gretna, they will square off against Appomattox County on Thursday.
