Soccer Recap: Jordan-Matthews Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Northwood on Wednesday, Jordan-Matthews came back down to earth. The Jets fell just short of the Southwestern Randolph Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Monday. While losing is never fun, Jordan-Matthews can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 197th, while Southwestern Randolph are ranked 20th).

Jordan-Matthews' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Southwestern Randolph, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Coming up, Jordan-Matthews will challenge Uwharrie Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jordan-Matthews are facing Uwharrie Charter Academy at the right time seeing as Uwharrie Charter Academy are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will be playing at home against Northwood at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
