Oxford Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Savanna Rebels as the Oxford Academy Patriots made off with a 17-3 win. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Emily Ganguly made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Danelia Paniagua was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Daniela Perez, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
