Basketball Recap: Intermountain Christian Takes a Loss

Intermountain Christian played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 70-26 loss at the hands of the Beaver Beavers. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-8.

When it comes to explaining why Intermountain Christian lost, don't look at Jackson Smith. Despite the final result, he shot 53% from the field en route to 19 points and five boards.

Intermountain Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Beaver, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Intermountain Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on December 3. As for Beaver, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-54 defeat against Piute on the 25th.
