Basketball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Stevens Falcons

The Warren Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Stevens Falcons at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Warren has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Warren is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Holmes to the tune of 102-63 on Thursday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Stevens waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 70-59. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Raiders are ranked 732nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Warren's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-15. As for Stevens, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Warren came up short against Stevens in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 59-46. Can Warren avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
