Guardian Angels Central Catholic is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nebraska's top teams: Concordia, who was ranked 16th at the time (Guardian Angels Central Catholic was ranked 17th). The Bluejays came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Battle Creek, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic was able to grind out a solid victory over Battle Creek when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1.
