Volleyball Recap: Oak Ridge War Eagles vs. The Woodlands Highlanders
If Oak Ridge was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Caney Creek on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The War Eagles came up short against The Woodlands Highlanders on Friday, falling 3-0. The War Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Highlanders earlier this season, when they won 3-1.
While Oak Ridge was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-23.
Allie Lindsey paced Oak Ridge's offense, picking up seven kills. Lindsey got some help from Samantha Daley and her 13 assists. Micah Rusher controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Oak Ridge's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 26-10. As for The Woodlands, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-18.
