Basketball Recap: New Haven Bulldogs vs. Woodlan Warriors
New Haven gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They breezed past the Woodlan Warriors to the tune of 73-31. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bulldogs had established a 39-point advantage.
Shane Rogers-Smith had a dynamite game, going 6-for-7 en route to 16 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Daylen Jackson, who made all 6 shots he took racking up 13 points and three steals.

New Haven smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.
Despite the loss, Woodlan had strong showings from Nathaniel Peters, who posted nine points and six boards, and Alex Art, who had nine points.
New Haven wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 78-42 win against Fort Wayne Northrop on the 2nd. As for Woodlan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-41 victory against Central Noble on the 26th.
