Basketball Recap: Hills Academy Picks Up 16th Consecutive Win

Hills Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 84-70 win over the New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why New Creation Christian Academy lost, don't look at Caleb Estes. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-15 on his way to 23 points in addition to six assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Levi Houseworth, who posted 11 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Hills Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for New Creation Christian Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Hills Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Academe of the Oaks at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for New Creation Christian Academy, they will take on Konos Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
