Volleyball Recap: Washburn Takes a Loss

Washburn lost against Rosemount back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Millers fell just short of the Irish by a score of 2-1. The Millers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rosemount can attribute much of their success to Allyson Luken, who had five aces and one assist.

Washburn's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Rosemount, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Washburn will challenge Richfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rosemount, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Minnetonka on the 4th.
