Glen Iris Baptist had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Chilton Christian Academy Patriots 64-29 on Monday. The Swordsmen haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Despite the defeat, Chilton Christian Academy had strong showings from Cayman Hamilton, who posted ten points and three steals, and Joseph Mitchell, who earned six points. Hamilton has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

Looking ahead, Glen Iris Baptist is taking a road trip to face off against East Central HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
