Volleyball Recap: Grayville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Grayville and Woodlawn squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Grayville had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1. The Bison just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Grayville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-11, 25-8.

Emma Buschiini paced Grayville's offense, picking up 11 kills. Buschiini got some help from Zaley Cheadle and her 19 assists. Emily Renshaw controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Woodlawn found their leader in freshman LIBBY WILLIAMS, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Grayville's loss dropped their record down to 14-22. As for Woodlawn, they pushed their record up to 18-18 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Grayville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodlawn, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield on the 29th.
