Recap: Hoehne Farmers vs. Trinidad Miners
On Saturday, the Hoehne Farmers faced the Trinidad Miners in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Hoehne really took it to Trinidad for the full four quarters, racking up a 82-17 victory on the road. Hoehne's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Hoehne got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Janae Ramos out in front who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds. The contest was Ramos' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Phoenix San Roman, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals.
Hoehne's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Trinidad, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Hoehne's road trip will continue as they head out to face Heritage Christian at 3:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Trinidad, they will take on Clayton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
