Recap: Hamilton Braves vs. Lincoln Fighting Zebras
The Hamilton Braves lost against the Lincoln Fighting Zebras back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hamilton was beaten by Lincoln 74-34. Hamilton has struggled against Lincoln recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Caden Stickney and Case Porter certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Stickney scored 12 points, while Porter scored 11 points. Kayden Strong was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Vocal, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Butler, who scored 7 points.
Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lincoln, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Hamilton will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Trinity Christian at 11:00 a.m. on December 2nd. As for Lincoln, they will face off against Carson at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Carson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
