Wakefield benefitted from Borg in 57-53 defeat
Even if Wakefield couldn't beat Laurel-Concord-Coleridge on Thursday, underclassman Jacob Borg still had a big game. Borg was dynamite, scoring 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Borg and Wakefield will head out on the road to square off against Ponca at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Borg had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their January 20th matchup 51-26. Could another big game from him be enough to change the outcome this time?
