Softball Game Preview: Madison Bulldogs vs. Tri-Valley Mustangs

For the second straight game, Madison will face off against Tri-Valley. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Madison has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Madison might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-8 to Tri-Valley, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kelcie Dudley put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Dudley was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Mara Klingbile made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Logan Prostrollo, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tri-Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
