Soccer Recap: Glenbrook South Takes a Loss

Glenbrook South saw some tournament action on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Lake Zurich Bears who were credited with the win. The Lake Zurich Bears got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Glenbrook South Titans' three. Glenbrook South have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Chloe Beach, which was the first she's scored this season.

Glenbrook South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-4-3. As for Lake Zurich, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season.

Glenbrook South didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 victory against Saint Viator on the 26th. As for Lake Zurich, they have also already played their next game, a 1-1 win against Prospect on the 26th.
