Volleyball Recap: Smithtown East Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Smithtown East had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the East Islip Redmen. That's more bragging rights for the Bulls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 24-26, 25-16.

Maddy Harris paced Smithtown East's offense, picking up seven kills. Harris got some help from Rosemarie Remsen and her 17 assists. Remsen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Smithtown East's record now sits at 12-1-3.

Coincidentally, Smithtown East and East Islip will both be playing Smithtown West the next time they take the court. The Bulls will head out to face Smithtown West at 4:00 p.m. on the 26th, while the Redmen will host them at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th.
