Football Game Preview: Chichester Eagles vs. Kennett Blue Demons

Chichester is 0-5 against Kennett since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Demons at 7:00 p.m. Chichester has given up an average of 29.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Chichester is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Chester on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles were beaten by the Clippers 78-7. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-7.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kennett, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed past Sun Valley to the tune of 47-7 on Friday. Considering the Blue Demons have won three games by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kennett's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.8 points on average over those games. As for Chichester, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
