Soccer Game Preview: Escambia vs. Pensacola Catholic

Escambia and Pensacola Catholic are an even 2-2-3 against one another since January of 2015, but likely not for long. The Escambia Gators will take on the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Escambia came up short against Tate on Friday, falling 9-1. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Aggies recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Escambia's goal came courtesy of Angel Saucedo-Galvan, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Pensacola Catholic entered their contest against Destin on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Pensacola Catholic fell just short of Destin by a score of 2-1. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Escambia's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Pensacola Catholic, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.
