Soccer Game Preview: Nipmuc Regional vs. Tantasqua Regional

Nipmuc Regional are taking a road trip to face off against Tantasqua Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tantasqua Regional took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Nipmuc Regional, who comes in off a win.

Nipmuc Regional took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Commerce 3-0.

Meanwhile, Tantasqua Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-0 to Doherty Memorial. The shutout was out of character for Tantasqua Regional seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Nipmuc Regional is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-5 record this season. As for Tantasqua Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-3.
