Stratford had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They strolled past the Edgar Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 65-47. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Wildcats are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Stratford is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Edgar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stratford will head out to square off against Chequamegon at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Stratford is facing Chequamegon at the right time seeing as Chequamegon is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Edgar, they will take on Phillips at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Phillips knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Edgar likes a good challenge.
