Kewaunee is 8-2 against Algoma since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Storm will head out on the road to challenge the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. Kewaunee will be strutting in after a victory while Algoma will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Kewaunee sidestepped Sevastopol for a 7-5 win. The Storm haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Micah Vanness and Connor Kilgore did most of the damage at the plate: Vanness went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI, while Kilgore went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That home run marked the first that Vanness has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Algoma didn't have quite enough to beat Sturgeon Bay on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The Wolves have struggled against the Clippers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Algoma's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Kewaunee, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
