Basketball Recap: Comp Sci Takes a Loss

The Comp Sci Eagles came up short against the Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers on Wednesday and fell 50-40.

Despite the loss, Comp Sci still got an impressive performance from DeMya Barrett, who posted 24 points and eight steals. Barrett is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Anari Stewart, who put up five points in addition to nine rebounds and three steals.

Comp Sci's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5.
