Volleyball Recap: Weldon Valley Triumphs + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Prairie, Weldon Valley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Otis Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Weldon Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-14, 25-22, 26-24.

Isabella Petrino was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 26 digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in August.

Weldon Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Otis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weldon Valley will host Peetz at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Otis, they will be playing at home against Idalia at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
