Wasilla faced Colony in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Warriors came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Wasilla was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 25-14.

Wasilla's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14-2. As for Colony, their victory bumped their record up to 31-16-2.

Colony didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Soldotna on the 7th. Hopefully Wasilla paid attention to the Knights' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Knights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
