Basketball Recap: Colebrook Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Colebrook Academy came into Wednesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Lin-Wood Lumberjacks by a score of 65-52 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Mohawks: when they faced off against the Lumberjacks back in December of 2024, they had to take a 77-41 loss.

Colebrook Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Lin-Wood, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

When Colebrook Academy and Lin-Wood next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Colebrook Academy will try to stop Groveton's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lin-Wood will take on Gorham and their three-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
