Soccer Recap: John Paul II Comes Up Short

John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the New Braunfels Christian Academy Wildcats. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Guardians couldn't quite close it out.

John Paul II's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

John Paul II will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Braunfels Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. New Braunfels Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Atonement Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
