The Hillcrest Trojans will venture away from home to challenge the Perris Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Hillcrest is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Citrus Hill just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Hawks could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept Hillcrest happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 1, 2025.

Julian Sandoval-Kolodoczka and Daniel Navarrete scored both of Hillcrest's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Perris had taken JW North down for five straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

Hillcrest's draw gives them a new season record of 8-2-1. As for Perris, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Everything went Hillcrest's way against Perris in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, as Hillcrest made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
