Volleyball Recap: North Callaway Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bowling Green on Tuesday, North Callaway came back down to earth. The Thunderbirds fell just short of the Wright City Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

North Callaway actually scored more points across those five sets (107-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 16-25, 25-20, 16-14.

North Callaway's loss dropped their record down to 16-10-3. As for Wright City, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5-1.

North Callaway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Eugene on the 16th. Wright City has also already played their next matchup (against Bowling Green), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
