Volleyball Game Preview: Hart Pirates vs. Big Rapids Cardinals + How To Watch

The Hart Pirates will square off against the Big Rapids Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Hart has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Hart didn't have quite enough to beat Fremont and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Packers: they've now lost six in a row.

Hart started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Big Rapids hadn't done well against Whitehall recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings.

Big Rapids easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15.

Hart's loss dropped their record down to 20-22-1. As for Big Rapids, their victory bumped their record up to 11-24-1.

Hart was able to grind out a solid win over Big Rapids in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
