Football Recap: Konawaena Skates Past Hilo with Ease

Konawaena faced Hilo in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats really took it to the Vikings for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-6 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 25 points or more this season.

Konawaena pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points over those games. As for Hilo, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

As of now, neither Konawaena nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
