Soccer Recap: San Clemente Starts Season with Win at Home

San Clemente took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Foothill Knights by a score of 5-3. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but the Tritons were the better team in the second half.

They hit Foothill with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gigi Nacelli (2), Taylor Hernandez, Camille Brophy, and Elle Schotemeyer.

San Clemente wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Etiwanda on the 5th. As for Foothill, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against San Juan Hills on the 4th.
