Football Game Preview: Jefferson Township vs. West Milford

On Friday Jefferson Township will take on West Milford at 6:30 PM. Jefferson Township are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.

Jefferson Township have had to suffer through a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They made easy work of Vernon last Friday and carried off a 34-6 victory. Jefferson Township found Jefferson Township's leader in underclassman sophomore Michael Gould, who rushed for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with nine tackles Randzio was a force on both sides of the ball.

As for West Milford, they had a rough outing against Wayne Valley two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. West Milford took down Fair Lawn 27-10.

Everything came up roses for Jefferson Township against West Milford the last time the two teams met as the team secured a 35-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jefferson Township since the team won't have home-field advantage.
