Joseph Porter, Regents's leading hitter, solidified his role on Tuesday. Blue Ridge had no answer to Porter as he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Porter has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Porter's strong effort led Regents over Blue Ridge and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
