Volleyball Recap: Moundridge Falls Short Against Ranked Halstead

Moundridge faced Halstead in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 2-1. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Among those leading the charge was Daynica Euwer, who had 13 digs and two assists. Those 13 digs gave her a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Moundridge fell to 20-1. As for Halstead, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Moundridge has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Marion on the 23rd. As for Halstead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Nickerson on the 23rd.
