Volleyball Recap: Paola Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Paola couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Bishop Miege Stags by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Panthers have struggled against the Stags recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Among those leading the charge was Player #9, who had ten digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight contests. Kelly Brown also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Paola's defeat dropped their record down to 27-10. As for Bishop Miege, their victory bumped their record up to 10-28.

Paola has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hayden on the 1st. Bishop Miege does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
