Basketball Recap: Raleigh Charter Phoenix vs. Triangle Math & Science Tigers
Raleigh Charter was the 58-55 winner over Triangle Math & Science when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Phoenix took a hard 55-38 fall against the Tigers on Friday.
Triangle Math & Science's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jailen Hawkins, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. Hawkins is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Zane Wilson was another key player, putting up eight points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.
Raleigh Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Triangle Math & Science, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.
