Football Recap: Wimberley Piles Up the Points Against Carrizo Springs + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wimberley had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Carrizo Springs Wildcats 59-0. That 59 point margin sets a new team best for the Texans this season.

Wimberley had a senior duo take command as Jackson Parker threw for 230 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes and Maverick Jacobs rushed for 59 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. Parker's passing game has become a key predictor of the Texans' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise.
