Volleyball Recap: Prentice's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Prentice had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Chequamegon Screaming Eagles. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Prentice easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14.

Prentice was led to victory by Sophie Staroba and Piper Heikkinen. Staroba had 15 assists and seven digs, while Heikkinen had seven digs.

Prentice's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Chequamegon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.

Prentice didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Phillips on the 27th. As for Chequamegon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Rhinelander on the 27th.
