Flag Football Game Preview: Cabrillo Conquistadores vs. San Luis Obispo Tigers

The Cabrillo Conquistadores will head out on the road to square off against the San Luis Obispo Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cabrillo has given up an average of 32.4 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cabrillo is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 33 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Righetti on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 39-6 loss at the hands of the Warriors.

Meanwhile, San Luis Obispo had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-7 W against the Braves. Those 12 points were actually the fewest the Tigers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

San Luis Obispo's win bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Cabrillo, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Cabrillo came up short against San Luis Obispo when the teams last played on September 13th, falling 13-0. Can the Conquistadores avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
