Volleyball Recap: Chestnut Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chestnut Ridge extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping them down to 6-19-5. They lost 3-0 to the Bishop McCort Crushers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crushers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

As for Bishop McCort, the win snapped their losing streak at nine matches and leaves them with a 10-17-3 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory they have posted against Chestnut Ridge since October 9, 2018.

Leading Bishop McCort to victory were Olivia Urban and Emma Preuss. Urban had seven aces and five digs, while Preuss had 12 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Urban has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Ciara Urban, who had five digs and two aces.

Chestnut Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop McCort, they will square off against Marion Center at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
