Softball Recap: Stone Memorial Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Stone Memorial made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Midway, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went the Stone Memorial Panthers' way against the Midway Green Wave on Friday as the Stone Memorial Panthers made off with an 11-0 win. The victory was just business as usual for the Panthers, who after five games remain undefeated this season.

Midway's batters probably weren't too happy with Kenzie Jackson, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Jackson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Karlie Overly, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Breanna Looper, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.
