Basketball Recap: Pope Skates Past Horizon Christian Academy with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westminster, Pope was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 82-51 win over the Horizon Christian Academy Warriors.

The victory got Pope back to even at 1-1. As for Horizon Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Coming up, Pope will take on Dunwoody in a tournament on Monday. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on White County at 7:15 p.m. on December 2.
