After failing to score in their last game, Piedmont made sure to put some goals up on the board against Anson on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bearcats a 5-0 shutout. Piedmont might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Anson with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Autumn Haverty (2), Brooke Fiorella, Annabelle Phillips, and Sara Broome.

Piedmont is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those ten games. As for Anson, they dropped their record down to 3-14-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
