Apollo had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past the Corona del Sol Aztecs with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 50-36. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Apollo found their leader in sophomore Izaiah Rawlings, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 18 points and five boards. Demetrius Pink was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Apollo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 77-53 victory against Browne on the 21st. As for Corona del Sol, they have also already played their next contest, an 81-56 loss against Millennium on the 20th.
