Basketball Preview: Manor New Tech vs. La Grange Leopards
Manor New Tech is 0-5 against the Leopards since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Manor New Tech will look to defend their home court against the La Grange Leopards at 6:15 p.m. The timing isn't great for Manor New Tech: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Leopards have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
Last Friday, Manor New Tech came up short against the Falcons and fell 43-34.
Meanwhile, La Grange didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Buffaloes on Friday, but they still walked away with a 42-36 victory.
La Grange's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaylee Holmes led the charge by scoring 13 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Holmes has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Harold, who scored six points along with 15 rebounds and two steals.
Manor New Tech has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for La Grange, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.
