Basketball Recap: Morristown Yellow Jackets vs. North Decatur Chargers

Morristown lost against North Decatur back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Morristown Yellow Jackets fell just short of the North Decatur Chargers by a score of 45-43.

Morristown lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Colin Kieninger, who went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Kellen Crim, who posted 11 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Decatur to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brady Mauer, who put up 11 points and eight rebounds. As for North Decatur, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Batesville at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. Batesville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season.
