The Aquinas Monarchs won the last time they faced Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, and things went their way on Saturday too. Aquinas was the clear victor by a 56-30 margin over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Aquinas.
Leading Aquinas to victory were Garett Novacek and Bryant Stouffer. Novacek scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds, while Stouffer scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Stouffer has scored at least 25% of Aquinas' points. Another player making a difference was Kasen Lavicky, who scored 7 points.
Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Aquinas will be playing at home against Howells-Dodge on Tuesday. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wahoo.
